Midaye Somali Development Network
Midaye Somali Development Network approached me to develop an Access database system for them to record all contact with their clients to a level of detail that would enable them to undertake statistical analysis of the services they offer.
Main Screen There are 3 levels of logon, administrator (who can do everything), input (who can undertake restricted operations) and view (who can only view the data) Each of the areas of the form have validation programmed so that if they are mandatory the system will inform users if they have left anything uncompleted, it also lock certain input areas based on business logic. There is an option to run a report that provides counts and percentages of a lot of the data captured within a user selection date range. There is also an option to export data to Excel. I developed a custom ribbon to provide the users with only the functionality required, thereby doing away with the full Access menus which only prove to be confusing to users. Custom Ribbon |
