Dellcourt House, set amidst 150 year old oaks trees opposite the finely manicured lawns of the Maryland convent in a quiet private road yet only a 15 minute stroll for the historic roman city centre of St Albans with its bustling market and magnificent abbey. The city boasts an enormous selection of fine dining restaurants, cosy bistros, gastro pubs together with a host of fast food eateries and takeaways. Not to mention some great shopping. Rolling countryside surrounds the city and Verulamium Park is only a short walk from the centre with the roman museum and holocaust well worth a visit.
Dellcourt House is about three quarters of a mile from the city centre in a quiet, private residential road with off street parking. It is close to the M25 (about 10 minutes drive from junction 22 or 21a), the M1 and the A1, and just over a mile from the station, where the frequent train service can get you to London's St Pancras station in less than 20 minutes.
